Library and Information Science

Overview

The Library and Information Science program offers a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree, accredited by the American Library Association (ALA). The program consists of 39 hours of coursework.

Admission Criteria

• Undergraduate GPA (Grade Point Average): Minimum 3.0 in last 60 hours of degree
• GPA of 3.0 (4.0 scale) for any course work beyond the undergraduate level
• International applicants must provide a TOEFL score of 100, IELTS score of 7.5, or a Duolingo score of 130

Scholarships and Financial Aid

The program provides more than $22,000 in merit and need-based financial support to new and current students. The application deadline for scholarships is March 1.
